06.01.07 So the dog and I both had an evening of nothing to do, and I had an itchy shutter finger. In a studio, Skya will pose, literally for up to 45minutes at a shot. Out in the open, though, she'd rather be off doing dog-type stuff -- sniffing everything, examining fox dens, finding briar patches through which she forces me to walk when I'm dumb enough to let her off leash, that type of stuff. Anyway, we also got a couple nifty-to-me pictures of my first live shuttle launch. I would have never figured it could be seen from our house!
05.26.07 Had a terrific shoot with Robin again. This young woman is just a complete spitfire with total dedication and drive. By the time I post this, she will have already gotten in at least two more full shoots back home in AL, both of which I'm sure she will have rocked! It was also a great chance to meet Sean (Robyn's packmule boyfriend), Taylor (their wonderful chocolate lab pup), and Tim (another photographer from here in Central Florida).
05.01.07 JC Photography has officially moved! I had a great run of things in Montgomery, and I'd love to thank each and every one of my clients, collaborators, and cohorts from up in the Heart of Dixie; without you, JCP would never have launched as well or as smooth. Also of note, JC Photography will still remain a division of WaveCrest Digital Media as a business entity, but it's finally time for it to spread its wings and venture a bit further from the nest. The present photoblog you all know and love is in the process of being split, so the other guys get their own space to grow, too, and very soon JCP should have its own domain altogether. There are bound to be some growing pains, but hopefully you'll all stick with me, and the end result will be even bigger and better!
